On Thursday the fifth of June room thirty five scootered to the Wetlands Campus.
We put on our gumboots and got our buddies. Then we walked to Clarevale Park. We all felt so excited and cold. When we got there Room thirty five and Room eleven were instructed by the park ranger John on how to plant the native trees and shrubs. First we had to find a tree or shrub on the ground and dig a hole in the soil. Next we had to put a fertiliser pellet in the hole. We covered the hole and stood back to make sure our plant was straight and wouldn't be able to pulled out by pukekos. We did the pukeko pull!
