Arbor Day

Room 35 and Room 11 started planting trees for Arbor Day today.
John the Park Ranger told us all the steps to plant a tree.
First we got into our buddy groups.
Next room 35 got the shovels and room 11 got the bamboo sticks also room 11 got the plastic covers.
Room 11 found some great spots to dig with the shovels.
After we dug the hole we put the fertiliser in and put some mud over it.
Then we put the plant in-  there were different types of plants, one was a cabbage plant the other was kowhai.
Then we put a blanket around it, it was grey.
After, we put 3 bamboo sticks in the holes of the blanket.
Also, we put a plastic cover over it and we put another bamboo stick in the blanket hole.

A great time and we were helping the Travis environment.
