Lovable
Room 35 wrote reasons and descriptions with similes why we're lovable.
* I'm lovable because I'm funny and make all my friends hysterical with laughter like hyenas.
*I'm also lovable because I'm nice.
*I'm lovable because I'm as creative as creativity.
*I'm lovable because I'm a good friend.
and that's why I'm lovable.

The Creamberg
I see a pod of orca whales, as black as a strip of liquorice. As I stare at the beautiful sight, I spot a humungous creamberg with a massive golden, waffle cone. It's like the whales are the lollies from the creamberg but they've broken off it and become mammals. The deep, blue ocean is so quiet,
so quiet that you could almost hear a baby spider squeal.

On the job writing
Woosh, the wind blow and her hair sparkles in the moonlight. The leaves slowly fall off the tree as she tugs on her umbrella to stop it from blowing away. As she is twirling around trying to get her umbrella, more leaves fall on her head and she laughs.

Jamie's 'On the Job' writing
I watch the dog as I'm walking along as quiet as a mouse. He's glazing at the red sunset , as the clouds are covering the sun to create nightfall. The sea is swishing and splashing and splashing against the shore. The sand is covering the white dog's feet.
The strange dog
Woof! Woof, I hear as I slowly stroll along the soft sand. A big dog wags its tail rapidly and stares out to see the sea, covering his paws followed by a fantastic sunset. Suddenly he zooms into the sea and looks back at me. I run in after him and get water splashed into my mouth like a waterfall. The salty sea water flows down my throat. Then we get caught by a massive wave.

On the Job Writing
The dog sits like a statue on the lonely, golden sand of the beach, breathing slowly. As the sun sets,
the waves start crashing louder than they were before, making a beautiful whooshing sound.

The Lonely Dog
I see
a dog sitting lonely on the sandy beach, as the waves crashed on the damp sand. The sun slowly goes down as the salt water runs between my toes.

Hand Art
We did hand art! We drew around our hands on a piece of paper and then cut it out. We coloured it in with pastels. We did all sorts of patterns and colours then when we were finished Mrs Royle pasted all of the hands on a HUGE piece of paper and Mrs Royle stapeled them on to the wall! It said we are each unique and beautiful but together we are a masterpiece!
Class Toys
We get tickets for being learning heroes in our classroom which includes when we manage our distractions. Then we have a draw at the end of the day. Whoever gets drawn out gets to take either Alison Carefully or Sticky Bility home. I've taken home Alison because I am a good listener.

Elephant having a shower
It is a very hot day and an elephant is walking the grasslands in Africa. It is thirsty and hot then he spots a small waterfall coming off a hill. He runs straight to the rushing water and cools down.He is very happy, as happy as a laughing child.
